VUMA software is customised for the analysis of mine ventilation, contaminant tracking, refrigeration and cooling networks with particular emphasis on full thermodynamic solutions. The VUMA suite of software [VUMA-network, VUMA-chiller, VUMA-coolflow, VUMA-live] has been particularly successful. VUMA Products are based on current research and development and uses state-of-art procedures and technology. All VUMA algorithms have been verified in recent work and over a development period of some two decades and represents a significant knowledge-base.BB

BBE have the capability and provide the service of customising any of these software products to specifically suit particular requirements. BBE also perform full Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis of airflow in airways and drifts for optimising aerodynamic features of design.
An agreement has been signed between VUMA and Mine Ventilation Services Inc [MVS] to make the VnetPC and VUMA software packages compatible and to mutually support development of even further enhanced software. The interface will facilitate the thermodynamic simulation in VUMA-network of VnetPC models as well as allowing fire simulations to be carried out in MineFire from VUMA.
